- Cardiff admitted the charge and have been issued with a formal warning.
- Cardiff posted a statement on their club website on Tuesday morning that read: “Cardiff City Football Club has a zero-tolerance policy to all forms of discrimination and will continue to work with the police and governing bodies to eradicate the scourge from our game and society.”
- Chelsea beat Cardiff 3-1 in the cup tie, but went on to lose to Arsenal in the semi-finals of the competition.
