Cardiff City v Nottingham Forest streaming details: Reds launch new service, team news

The international break comes to a close this week as Nottingham Forest return with a trip to face Cardiff City on Friday.

It will be a second successive away journey for Chris Hughton’s side, after they came away with a 1-1 draw from their visit to Brentford a little more than a week ago.

The Reds are not yet completely assured of Championship safety as they head into their final eight games.

They currently sit 17th, with a seven-point cushion above the relegation zone - although third-bottom Rotherham United do have a number of games in hand.

It will be a tough contest in Wales, however, with the Bluebirds in eighth place and fighting to finish in the play-off spots.

Here’s your guide to this week’s match.

When is the game?

Forest are away at Cardiff on Friday, April 2, with a 3pm kick-off.

How can I watch the match?

The fixture is not being shown on TV, but is available as the first match for the launch of the club's new digital service.

Streaming service Forest TV will begin with the clash against the Bluebirds, with the Reds set to stop using the English Football League's iFollow system.

The club say: "Supporters currently subscribed to iFollow will shortly receive details from EFL Digital concerning the migration to Forest TV."

As part of the transformation, there will also be a new official club website and mobile app, which launch on Thursday.

Forest said: "After extensive consultation and a tender process, the club are excited to be working alongside Urban Zoo and StreamAMG to provide a leading digital offering to entertain fans of all ages.

"As part of a wider digital transformation, the club are also launching a new “single-sign-on” process across the club’s website, app, Forest TV, ticketing and retail platforms to provide a smoother experience for all supporters."

Team news

Boss Hughton will hope to have Joe Worrall available to take on Cardiff.

The defender has missed the last three games with a cracked rib, but it was hoped he would return to action after the international break.

Winger Joe Lolley recently posted an update on Instagram saying he had undergone surgery on a hamstring injury which looks to have ended his season early.

Midfielders Fouad Bachirou (hamstring) and Harry Arter (calf) have also been on the injured list.
