Cardiff City skipper Joe Ralls trips up Burnley fan who was goading Bluebirds supporters

Cardiff City skipper Joe Ralls was filmed tripping up a Burnley supporter who had run on to the pitch and was goading Bluebirds fans.

The moment was captured following the Clarets' 3-0 home victory against Sabri Lamouchi's side at Turf Moor on Monday.

Cardiff's 29-year-old captain went to the away end to clap the travelling fans when one brave Burnley fan chose to run in front of the stand throwing up hand gestures, much to the displeasure of the Bluebirds collective.

Security attempted to capture the man but he was evasive in his manoeuvers until he chose to run behind Ralls.

The adopted Welshman leaned backwards leaving a trailing leg, catching the mischief-maker perfectly as he stacked it and hit the deck.

Bluebirds supporters ate it up with a chorus of cheering despite their loss, as the Burnley fan ran away.

You can watch the comical moment below.

The win crowned a spectacular season for Vincent Kompany's team, who concluded the campaign with 101 points. They are the first Championship side to cross the century mark for points since Leicester City in 2013/2014 (102).

Cardiff just avoided relegation, with a five-point gap between themselves and Reading, who were deducted six points for breaching the EFL business plan.
