Cardiff City player ratings as Callum Robinson scores crucial goal but others fail to make impact vs Burnley

Ryan Allsop 6

Had really nothing to do. Made one smart save from Cullen in the first half and couldn't do a great deal about the goal. Tidy with his feet.

Mahlon Romeo 7

Had a part to play in Burnley's goal when he went down to allow Nathan Tella to score, but made Cardiff's goal with a lovely cross to Robinson. Had a stinging effort saved, too.

Perry Ng 6

A solid enough outing from the centre-back. Got booked for making one horror tackle, though.

Cedric Kipre 6

Another decent outing, all things considered. Also went into the book. Came off late with an injury but was solid enough.

Niels Nkounkou 5

Can look a million dollars one minute then all over the place the next. Looks a little dicier in a back four.

Ryan Wintle 6

Kept play ticking along nicely but did also give the odd pass away, which is unlike him. Tidy enough.

Joe Ralls 7

Looked bright in and out of possession. One of his better performances of the campaign. Harried well and used the ball well when he had it, too.

Callum O'Dowda 6

A typically assured performance from the winger. He always looks capable of producing something when in possession and was more than helpful at the other end of the pitch.

Sheyi Ojo 6

His final product is frustrating because he does so much right up until that final strike of the ball. Kept hold of the ball well and showed some flashes of excitement.

Mark Harris 7

Started the game really well and closed down the opposition defence with aplomb. Worked really well with his strike partner Robinson, too.

Callum Robinson 7 (star man)

Had a number of chances early on but just couldn't find the net early on. Atoned for that, though, when he scored in the final minute to earn his side the point. Ran everywhere from minute one.

Subs

Andy Rinomhota (Ralls 64) 5 - Ball just bounced off him a few times and was sloppy in possession. But his energy was an asset.

Gavin Whyte (O'Dowda 72) 6 - Actually looked bright when he came on. Impacted the game.

Max Watters (Harris 72) 5 - Didn't really see a great deal of him but made some decent runs into the channels.

Romaine Sawyers (Ojo 79) 5 - Another who didn't make a huge impact but was tidy enough.

Jack Simpson (Kipre 79) 5 - His first impact was hitting a misplaced pass, but was OK after that.
