Cardiff City man has his say on how dominant Leeds United actually were

Cardiff City's Elland Road hero Robert Glatzel felt the Bluebirds were worthy of a point following their dramatic fightback against Leeds United in West Yorkshire on Saturday afternoon.

Trailing 3-0 after just 52 minutes, Cardiff looked on course to suffer their second defeat inside a week, with them seemingly dead and buried at the hands of Marcelo Bielsa's Whites, but a dramatic change in fortunes saw the Bluebirds claw it back to 3-3.

First, Lee Tomlin netted a superb lobbed effort on the hour mark before Sean Morrison, who would be sent off with just four minutes remaining, reduced the arrears to one. And with time running out, substitute Glatzel latched onto Tomlin's cute flick to salvage an unlikely looking point.

Speaking to Cardiff City TV after the game, Glatzel said: "In football anything can happen, but it was a great comeback from our team this afternoon.

"Leeds played some very good football and it was difficult going up against them, but it was wonderful the way we came back and in the end it was a well-deserved point for us.

"We've had to show our character a couple of times this season to get a result, now we just need to work on not getting into these situations.

"We need to try to be better over the full 90 minutes and not just in the second half, but as I said we're happy with the point and ready for the next game."
