Cardiff City 'interested' in signing Brazilian striker Willian José - reports

Cardiff City are interested in signing Brazilian forward Willian Jose, according to reports.

Neil Warnock has already divulged that the Bluebirds are on the look-out for transfers for next season, looking at both scenarios of staying up or going down.

Cardiff are three points adrift of Brighton in the current Premier League standings, with just three games to go to overtake the Seagulls.

Now, the club is being linked with La Liga striker Willian Jose, of Spanish side Real Sociedad.

According to reports in Calciomercato , the Bluebirds are interested in bringing in the 27-year-old Brazilian forward, who has scored 44 goals in three seasons with Real Sociedad, including 10 in the current campaign.

However, the Mail Online reporting last summer that the Spanish club had made it known they were seeking £45million, surely Jose would only be an option if Cardiff survived in the Premier League, although even then that would prove far too subsantial.
