Here's your round-up of all the latest Cardiff City headlines for Thursday, December 9.
Morison hails City's fighting spirit
Steve Morison admits he's been impressed by the character displayed by his team on the training ground this week following their disappointing defeat at home to Sheffield United last weekend.
The Bluebirds travel to Birmingham City on Saturday seeking a return to winning ways, and Morison has been pleased with the way his troops have responded.
"Anyone who was at training today will know exactly what the spirit is like," he said.
"The lads are fighting and we know what hurts most on a Saturday. You can’t give a team like Sheffield United a leg up and we did. In those last 15-20 minutes, when everyone thought it as all over and done and dusted, we came back again.
"From our point of view we are just gutted we conceded those goals so quickly. We needed to frustrate them a bit longer and we couldn’t. We live and learn."
Bowyer - We have to compete
Birmingham boss Lee Bowyer, meanwhile, has called on his team to stand tall and compete against the Bluebirds this weekend.
The Blues have won three of their last four games at home, but Bowyer is expecting physical challenge when Cardiff come to town on Saturday.
"We have to compete, there are individual battles all over the pitch," he said.
"If we win more of them, we have every chance of winning the game. For us to win games, every single player has to be at it from start to finish.
“We are at home; we have to turn up and get the crowd going and compete. If we do that, we are not a bad side when we do that. If we are off it, we get punished, so we need to be on it.”
Warnock - I'm a Rangers man
Neil Warnock has once again admitted that he'd like to manage in Scotland, but has refused to be drawn on potential interest in the vacancy at Hibernian.
Hibs parted company with Jack Ross during Alan Brazil's Sports Breakfast Show on talkSPORT, and Warnock was quizzed on whether he'd potentially be interested in the job.
He refused to comment on Hibs specifically, but admitted that he once threw his hat in the ring for the Aberdeen job - and didn't receive a reply.
It's not the first time Warnock has expressed an interest in managing in Scotland, of course.
Even when he was Cardiff boss, he admitted he'd like to one day help a club break the Old Firm's dominance.
However, speaking to Brazil and Ally McCoist, Warnock admitted he does have a fondness for Rangers.
He said: "I applied for the Aberdeen job a few years ago and never even got a letter back.
"I was going to go to Hearts at one stage, or I thought I was, and then the Latvian (Lithuanian) guy came in.
"Edinburgh's lovely, Glasgow and Edinburgh. I am a Rangers man.
"My mate who's a season ticket holder up there gets me up to the games up there and I've never seen hospitality like it. It's a special place.
"When you walk from the car park and look up at the ground, you think 'wow'."
