Here are your Cardiff City headlines for Monday, December 27.
Cardiff return to training
Cardiff City returned to training on Monday in the hope that Thursday's clash with Bournemouth will go ahead.
The Bluebirds' previous two fixtures against Coventry City and Derby County were postponed owing to a Covid-19 outbreak within the Welsh club's camp.
In a positive news bulletin, though, Cardiff returned to training on Monday morning and plan for the Bournemouth match to go ahead, as things stand.
The training ground was closed for the players last week as the club tried to overcome the outbreak in a bid to ensure no more fixtures were backlogged.
As for Thursday's opponents, the Cherries face QPR in London on Monday evening and, providing they get through that fixture unscathed, there is hope that the Bluebirds' clash on the south coast will go ahead on Thursday.
Steve Morison will also give his pre-match press conference on Tuesday afternoon.

Wintle absent for Blackpool
Ryan Wintle was a notable absentee for Blackpool's Boxing Day defeat by Huddersfield Town.
Wintle has been one of the Seasiders' top performers this season, leading many Bluebirds supporters to urge the club to bring him back early from his loan next month to bolster the midfield.
He has been an ever-present for Neil Critchley since he moved to Bloomfield Road in the summer, which is why his omission from Sunday's matchday squad was all the more curious.
Some supporters took it as a sign he was on his way back to Cardiff, while others suggested it might be an injury, which would be a blow if the Bluebirds were planning on bringing him back to the Welsh capital in January.
Blackpool play again on Wednesday, against Middlesbrough, so it will be interesting to monitor Wintle's situation.
The Bluebirds are considering the possibility of recalling the player in the new year.
The Cardiff power rankings
As we approach the halfway mark in the season, it is a time for reflection.
For Cardiff City, the beginning of the campaign has been incredibly disappointing as they head into the new year staring at a relegation battle in 2022.
The football has been dire, at times, but under Steve Morison there have been improvements in recent weeks which offer slight comfort and hope that things can turn around next year.
In order for that to happen, of course, the squad must all be firing in top form, because they have played far below the sum of their parts thus far this term.
Here , we look at those who have to show more and the ones who can hold their heads up high despite the team's faltering first half of the season.
