Cardiff City's search for a new manager appears to have reached its conclusion, with the appointment of Mick McCarthy seemingly imminent.
It comes after the Bluebirds sacked Neil Harris and assistant David Livermore.
City currently lie in 15th position in the league table, now 13 points off the play-off spots, and are in desperate need of a new-manager bounce.
We must also remember, though, that there are still a few days left in this transfer window, which closes on February 1, and there is still business which needs to be done and areas of the squad which need to be addressed.
