Cardiff City manager Neil Harris believes Leeds United deserve to be top of the Championship table.
After a 15-week gap in fixtures, Leeds United's Championship promotion push finally gets back underway this weekend.
Marcelo Bielsa's side have spent the enforced break sitting at the top of the second-tier, patiently waiting to get the green light for the season to resume.
The Whites are currently seven points clear of third-placed Fulham in the race for promotion with just nine games left to play this season.
Bielsa’s side also hold a one point advantage over fellow promotion chasers West Brom at the top of the table.
And Harris believes Leeds more than deserve to be sat top of the table after their impressive form this season.
“It is yeah, 37 games, you roughly deserve to be where you are barring a point or two,” the former Millwall boss told Wales Online.
“Leeds deserve to be top of the table because of how they’ve been over the course of the season.
“They have invested heavily in the setup there so it will be a great test for us. They are regarded as one of the fittest and fastest teams in the division.
“But sometimes you want to put down a marker, but if we play at our best then we have got a chance to put a marker down for the rest of the season.”
