Bristol City have confirmed they returned one positive test in the latest round of coronavirus testing ahead of the return of the Championship.
Players and staff from all 24 of the division's clubs have been regularly tested since May ahead of the return of the 2019/20 second tier season.
And Lee Johnson's outfit have confirmed one member of the club returned a positive test last week.
A statement from the Robins read: "After last Thursday’s league-wide testing for Covid-19 completed by Bristol City players and staff at the club’s training facility, we can confirm that one member of the testing group tested positive for coronavirus.
"The individual, who we are not naming due to medical confidentiality, is asymptomatic and is now self-isolating in line with league and government guidance.
"There has been a subsequent scheduled round of testing for the rest of the group with all results negative.
"The club will be making no further comment at this time."
Both Cardiff City and Swansea City face the Ashton Gate outfit during their Championship run-ins.
The Bluebirds take on the Robins in Bristol on Saturday, July 4 while the Swans host Johnson's troops at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, July 18.
The Robins are currently seventh in the table, one point ahead of Cardiff and two clear of Swansea.
Cardiff have returned one positive test during the course of the rigorous testing regime put in place, while Swansea have returned all negative tests ahead of the restart.
