Cardiff Bus announces big changes to timetables and city centre stops

Cardiff Bus has announced major changes to its timetable and city centre stops.

From Saturday, February 13, the operator will be restoring its normal weekday services.

A temporary emergency timetable had been implemented on January 10 due to the pressures of the pandemic, which saw Saturday timetables in place for its services across all weekdays, apart from a few exceptions.

From February 13, timetable changes will also come into force for most routes to "better reflect" the level of congestion, as well as changes to the priority and space given to buses on the road network.

Some city centre terminal points will also be amended to account the future phase of work at Central Square and works starting on the Canal Quarter on Churchill Way.

All bus stop timetables are being updated and Cardiff Council are in the process of updating the real time information system.

Passengers are urged to check the new timetables before travelling.

You can view the changes to the timetables and city centre changes in full on the Cardiff Bus website.
