Cardi B’s headline festival set in Los Angeles was interrupted when her ex Offset walked on stage with gifts and begged her to take him back.

The hip-hop star, 26, was left looking furious when her headline set at Rolling Loud festival on Saturday was stopped mid-way while her ex tried to win her back.

Gifts including flowers and cakes were rolled onto the stage on trolleys as the 27-year-old told her that he was sorry.

He said: “I just want to tell you I’m sorry. In person, in front of the world. Whatever I gotta do to show you I love you.”

His interruption comes weeks after she announced she was seeking a divorce amid claims that he had tried to organise a threesome with two other women, Metro.co.uk reports.

Members of the audience appeared to have mixed reactions to the incident.

Some could be heard chanting “take him back” while one woman can be heard saying “once a cheater, always a cheater.”

Many people on social media were outraged by Offset’s actions.

One user said: “I’m not even a fan of Cardi but I feel so bad for her, she looks so hurt. Why would her team and the people at Rolling Loud allow him to get on that stage and embarrass her?? Men listen: NO MEANS NO.”

Romario Bautista wrote: “Cardi B was the first FEMALE headliner in Rolling Loud history! Honestly, it’s so f***** up that he even did that. Like you really gonna be out here taking up her spotlight and making her set about you?”

While Demetria Lucas said: “Offset disrupting Cardi's performance is like your ex running up on. you at your job in the middle of a meeting. This is not acceptable or cute. Or romantic. It's creepy and unstable.”
