Cardi B does major U-turn on her blocked GoFundMe for Joe Exotic's defence fund

Cardi B brushed off her blocked GoFundMe for Joe Exotic's defence as "playful".

The musician, 27, tried to set up a GoFundMe page to get the convicted Tiger King star "better" legal representation.

Her campaign was spurred on after she become a massive fan of the show while she has been in isolation amid the coronavirus outbreak plaguing the world.

She backed Exotic as he claimed he had been wrongfully imprisoned for attempted murder for hire of his nemesis and rival Big Cat Rescue's Carole Baskin.

But GoFundMe doesn't extend it's fund-raising to jailbirds convicted of violent crimes.

In a U-turn, Cardi B has insisted she was "just playing" when she proposed she was going to set "free" Exotic from his 22-year prison sentence.

Although she pointed out she was "just playing", the musician admitted she did "love" the Tiger King star.

Cardi B also reiterated Exotic needed "better representation".

She wrote: "Omg I was just playing I do love him tho and he deff needed better representation.

She tagged on the end: "oooooooooooooooooo here Kitty Kitty." (sic)

The rapper become a huge fan after she binge-watched Netflix documentary Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness in quarantine.

Cardi B informed her 10.8million followers she wanted to "free" Exotic from behind bars.

She wrote previously: "Bout to start a gofundme account for Joe .He shall be free." (sic)

The rapper was enticed into the flamboyant world of big cat animal park owners in the US.

Tiger King followed the big personalities Exotic, rival Carole and Doc Antle.
