Caravans spotted pitched up on popular Nottingham playing fields

Caravans have been spotted pitched up on a Nottingham playing field.

At least eight vans could be seen on The Meadows playing field, just off from the Victoria Embankment and River Trent.

The playing fields are often a popular spot for games of cricket and football among residents in The Meadows and also popular with dog walkers and visitors to the Embankment.

The caravans were spotted pitching up at around 3.30pm on Thursday, April 29, according to people in the area.

Nottinghamshire Live reported how caravans pitched up in the same spot on June 28 and August 11 last year. On both occasions they were served notice by Nottingham City Council to leave the area.
