Monday marked a major easing of lockdown restrictions in England.
From April 12, as part of Step Two of the Government's roadmap, staycations are permitted once again as 'self-contained accommodation' can reopen.
Non-essential retail has also been able to welcome back customers, along with outdoor hospitality, hairdressers, salons, libraries, as well as outdoor attractions such as zoos.
But there are still rules in place for campsites and caravan parks, and limits on who can stay overnight.
The Government guidance also still asks people to minimise travel as much as possible at this stage.
Here is what the latest lockdown easement means for staycations:
Can I stay overnight somewhere?
Yes, as long as you stay somewhere with your household only, which can also include your support bubble.
The guidance states that from April 12, overnight stays are allowed, but as household groups.
This means you couldn't go on a staycation with people you don't live with or stay over at a friend's house.
You could however have an overnight stay with your household, and meet up with another household outdoors whilst on holiday, as part of the rule of six.
"Overnight stays away from home in this country will be permitted and self-contained accommodation - those that do not require shared use of bathing, entry/exit, catering or sleeping facilities - can also reopen, though must only be used by members of the same household," the Government said.
In Step Three, no earlier than May 17, other accommodations can welcome back guests and you may be able to stay with another household by then as rules on indoor mixing are set to lift.
Are all campsite and caravan parks open?
Only self-contained accommodation sites have been able to reopen at this stage, which can include campsites, caravan parks, and cottage holidays.
This means campsites and caravan parks that have shared facilities will remain closed, or those facilities will be closed at the sites.
A statement from The Caravan Club said: "Following the UK Government's recent guidance, we will be reopening all our Club campsites in England from 12 April 2021.
"Based on current draft guidance for Step 2, it is likely that we will, unfortunately, be unable to open our toilets or showers and other indoor shared facilities (excluding receptions) when our Club campsites in England reopen on 12 April.
It added: "Service points and waste disposal facilities will be available and open for use, operated in line with government guidelines
"If you wish to book, please be aware that due to the restrictions, our facilities will not be open and you will need to have your own self-contained on-board facilities such as toilet, washing and kitchen facilities."
The Club also said their campsites in England will require all members and guests over the age of 16 to provide Test and Trace (or UK country variants) information.
If you already have the NHS Covid-19 app, you will be asked to use this on arrival at the campsite for all party members over the age of 16. If you do not have the app, you will be provided with a log sheet to complete.
