Caramel Aero is launching in the UK and it sounds delicious

Chocolate and caramel lovers rejoice: Nestlé has announced a caramel-flavoured version of its Aero bar.

Aero Caramel is made from sustainably produced cocoa and will be available as a 100g sharing bar.

The caramel-flavoured milk chocolate bar will go on sale in the next few weeks at major supermarkets, including Asda, Co-Op, Morrisons and Tesco, as well as convenience stores.

It will only be sold as a 100g sharing bar, which will set shoppers back £1 - the same price as a 100g bar of the original Aero.

Amy Kendall, Assistant Brand Manager for Aero, said: "The science and technology behind Aero made it unique from the start – but we continually look for new ways to innovate and delight fans.

"We believe that Aero Caramel is a delicious new addition to the Aero family and we hope it will soon become another firm favourite."

The new caramel flavour joins Nestlé's popular Aero range, which includes milk chocolate, peppermint and Aero Bubbles.

Aero first launched in 1935 as a chocolate bar in a peppermint flavour, which was followed by the milk chocolate version in the 1970s.

In 2019, Nestlé launched the luxurious "Aero Bliss" in milk chocolate, salted caramel and praline flavours.

The indulgent treat be enjoyed in a sharing box (£3, Sainsbury's) - perfect for special occassions.

If you want to stock up on the original peppermint Aero, Tesco is selling a four-pack for just £1.

However, UK shoppers won't see them on shop shelves Monday March 9th.
