It has been revealed that the Carabao Cup quarter-final draw will be made on national radio.
The draw will take place on Thursday October 31 live on Zoe Ball’s Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 at 8.45am.
Former Liverpool and Aston Villa goalkeeper David James will be in the studio to help Zoe Ball conduct the draw.
James has been appearing on popular BBC show Strictly Come Dancing and he admits that he can’t wait to help make the draw with Ball.
James said: “I have so many great memories of the Carabao Cup and I’m proud to be part of the history of the competition.Every year it’s always an exciting competition to watch, so I’m looking forward to seeing how my old clubs get on.”
The Carabao Cup fourth-round takes place this week with Chelsea hosting Man United and Liverpool taking on Arsenal in the ties of the round.
Fixtures for the quarter-finals will take place week commencing December 16.
