Cara Delevingne appears on Lady Garden cover in just sweater to raise awareness of gynaecological cancers

Cara Delevingne has appeared on the cover of the Sunday Times Style Magazine wearing just a ‘Lady Garden’ sweater to raise awareness of gynaecological cancers.

The supermodel and actress is photographed for the Lady Garden campaign, which aims to raise awareness of female cancers by making women less embarrassed of talking about their bodies.

“I am so happy with this cover and thrilled to be helping raise awareness for a cause that is so important," she wrote on Instagram after sharing the cover.

The Lady Garden Campaign continues ahead of Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month in September.

It was launched by a group of British women in response to research showing more than a third of women were too embarrassed to go to doctors with gynaecological concerns or even speak to a friend about them.

Their subsequent research found 86 per cent of women who have learned about the campaign felt more comfortable saying the word vagina and talking about gynaecological health. They were also more aware of symptoms of gynaecological cancers.

Delevingne has promoted the Lady Garden campaign before by running in the Lady Garden 5k with a number of other famous women. Other high-profile supporters include Cressida Bonas, Poppy Delevingne and Ellie Goulding.
