Car wrecked in dramatic A90 crash as emergency services race to scene on Scots road

Emergency services raced to a one-vehicle crash on a stretch of the A90 last night.

Police officers and the Scottish Ambulance Service attended the incident between Cramond Bridge and Dalmeny around 7.15pm on Sunday evening.

A photograph of the crash, posted on the Fife Jammer Locations Facebook page, shows extensive damage to the front of a black vehicle.

Dark black skid marks can also be spotted on the road as a handful of people stand near the vehicle just before the B924 cutoff.

It is understood that one man sustained a leg injury in the crash and was tended to by paramedics.

The extent of his injuries are not yet known.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said : "Officers attended a one vehicle crash on A90 between Cramond Bridge and Dalmeny at 7.15pm on Sunday, 8 August."

The Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
