Car window smashed after stone is thrown at moving vehicle on Kilmarnock street

Police have launched an investigation after an item – believed to be a stone – was thrown at a moving car last week.

The window of the vehicle was smashed but nobody was injured following the incident on Kilmarnock’s Dean Street at around 7.20pm on Saturday, February 29.

Anyone with information is asked to call the non-emergency 101 police number quoting the reference of 3605.
