Car theft outside Falkirk Post Office sparks warning from police

Police in Falkirk are urging people not leave their vehicle engines running or keys inside while unattended.

It comes after a car was stolen in the Laurieston area early this morning.

Officers say a yob jumped into a black Insignia VRM outside the Post Office on Mossgiel Terrance at around 5:50am.

The owner had left the car running, while not inside.

Its registration number is L123 WUL.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Anyone with information should call officers on 101, quoting incident number 0361 24h Mar 2021."
