A car found stranded over a barrier at a promenade has left passersby bemused at how it go there.
The car, a blue SUV style vehicle was left hanging over the low former sea wall at Parkgate promenade today.
People shared pictures of the strange scene with the ECHO and on social media asking how the car came to be in such a "bizarre" position.

One person, who sent a picture of the vehicle hanging off a low wall at the popular resort said they had "no idea" how the car got there.
The woman, who asked not to be named, told the ECHO: "It's bizarre.
"In all my years of coming to Parkgate, I've never seen anything like this.
"People on the parade were stopping and taking pictures."
She added: "I've no idea how it happened. I just hope nobody was hurt"
The woman added: "Good luck to whoever recovers that car."
