Car stolen in Nottinghamshire recovered in Cambridgeshire less than 24 hours after it was stolen

A car stolen in the Nottinghamshire police area less than 24 hours previously has been located in Cambridgeshire.

The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire (BCH) Roads Policing unit tweeted at 11.35pm yesterday (Wednesday) that enquiries into the incident involving the Audi vehicle were ongoing.

The BCH Police Dog Unit and the National Police Air Service South East were both involved in the search.

The tweet said: "This vehicle was stolen in ⁦ @nottspolice area less than 24hrs ago. Spotted in ⁦ @CambsCops and after a short pursuit was located in St Neots. Enquires on going.

"Thanks to ⁦ @BCHPoliceDogs @NPASSouthEast & local South Cambs Response for the help!"
