Car smashes through wall before ramming into house in Rathfarnham

These dramatic images show the moment a car crashed into a house in Rathfarnham.

The shocking incident happened earlier today as a car drove off the road before smashing through a wall and ramming into a house on Grange Road nearly Marlay Park.

The driver, who was the only occupant of the car, was rushed to hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Earlier today, a collision on James's Street near Dublin city centre caused disruption to Luas services.
