Metal railings at the side of a busy road were flattened after a driver smashed into them - and then drove off straight away.
The barriers fitted outside the Spar Shop on Carmarthen Road, on the junction with Waun Wen Road, were knocked over by a white van which momentarily lost control.
But the driver quickly maintains composure, and drives away from the scene seconds later.
The incident, which was caught on CCTV, took place on Wednesday evening, December 2, just after 10.30pm.
Waun Wen resident Karen Lewis said: “There was a gap in those railings, and that was due to a car landing on top of them and knocking the advertising board down many years ago.
“There are speed cameras near the traffic lights, but they need to be up in the residential area.

“There have been lots of accidents - my son’s best friend got killed opposite the Spar 17 years ago.
“There’s also a problem with cars and motorcycles speeding from Waun Wen Road straight across the main road over to Lion Street.
“It’s a nightmare. I’ve seen it get busier and busier over the years”.
Despite the extensive damage to the railings, which left them bent and buckled, they have already been repaired.
A Swansea Council spokesman added: "‘Our highways team attended and carried out repairs to the fencing immediately after being made aware of the incident.”
