This was the scene as a workman boarded up a bungalow after a car smashed into it.
The house, on Rylance Street in Beswick, was badly damaged in the incident in the early hours of Monday.
Police, paramedics and fire crews were called at around 3.07am.
Nobody was taken to hospital, though people were treated at the scene. Their injuries are not thought to have been serious.
A spokesman for the North West Ambulance Service said:"We were called at 3.07am.

"No-one was taken to hospital. The rapid response vehicle and an ambulance attended the scene.
"People were treated at the scene."

A spokesman for the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said:"We were called at 3.04am to Rylance Street in Beswick to reports of a car which has gone into the corner of a bungalow."
"Crews from Philips Park, Manchester Central and a tactical response unit from Ashton attended.
"Fire crews assessed the damage to the structure of the bungalow and helped an occupant out of the property.
"Police and ambulance also attended.
"We were on the scene for two hours."
Greater Manchester Police said no arrests have been made.
