Gardai in Naas have seized a car from a motorist after a hilariously bad attempt to cover up their lack of insurance.
Not only did the motorist have no tax, or NCT, they also tried to get away with having no insurance by using a parking ticket as an insurance disc!
They were not alone though, as two other cars were seized for the same reason, but we'd be willing to bet that none of the other motorists attempted to deceive the gardai quite like this!
A spokesperson from An Garda Siochana confirmed on twitter that the three cars had been seized. They said: "Naas Roads Policing Unit: Car stopped in Kilcock, No Insurance/ Tax/ NCT.. driver was using a parking ticket as Insurance Disc! Car seized and proceedings to follow.
"Two other cars seized for No Insurance/ Tax/ NCT."
