Car ploughs into Halford's Kilmarnock branch sparking huge emergency response

A car has ploughed into the side of a Halfords branch in Kilmarnock sparking a huge emergency response.

Cops and fire crews raced to the incident at Glencairn Retail Park in the Ayrshire town 12.50pm on Sunday.

The Halfords branch reportedly shut earlier than its usual 5pm closing time as a result of the crash.

No one was injured in the crash.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We were called around 12.50pm to a report of a one car crash at the Glencairn Retail park, just off Holm Road, Kilmarnock.

"No apparent injuries and the owner arranged recovery of the vehicle."
