Car park trashed by drifting meet that left it covered in burnt rubber

A car park has been left covered in black tyre marks and litter after 60 cars filled the site and spent the evening drifting and pulling donuts.

Milton Park and Ride in Cambridgeshire was taken over by a car meet which went on until at least midnight, with drivers using lamp posts as the centre point for their tricks.

One resident told Cambridgeshire Live: “The amount of burnt rubber is quite a sight. It looks like a race track. You can still smell burnt rubber this morning, so they must have really been going for it."

Earlier this year a video emerged appearing to show a black car 'drifting' around a roundabout. The footage appears to show the vehicle swerving and skidding across the road.

Screeches can be heard as the car spins around the roundabout and drives away from the scene.

A police spokesman said: "People should drive sensibly and in accordance with the laws of the road.”
