Car overturns following collision at Radyr train station

A car has turned over on its side after colliding with a parked vehicle at a Cardiff railway station.

The emergency services were called to Radyr train station at 5.22pm after the collision which took place on Kings Road.

A spokesperson from the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said an elderly woman was released from their car prior to their arrival and received minor treatment from paramedics at the scene.

They are now assisting police to clear the roadway at the entrance to Radyr train station.

There's queuing traffic in the area from vehicles entering and leaving the park and ride and the train station.
