The driver of a Vauxhall Astra which turned over on its roof after a crash with another car was taken to hospital.
Police said the driver suffered an arm injury and was taken straight to hospital after the accident in Anfield yesterday evening.
Emergency services were called out to the busy junction of Priory Road and Arkles Lane at around 6.30pm yesterday (Sunday) following reports of an accident between a Vauxhall Astra and a Volvo V70.
In the crash the Astra overturned and landed onto its roof.
Police are now appealing for information about the crash.
A police spokesman told the ECHO : "We are investigating following a two car collision involving a Vauxhall Astra and a Volvo V70.
"Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to DM @MerPolCC or 101 quoting reference 20000393820."
