Car of missing Lanarkshire OAP found on sea facing road near Stranraer

The car of a missing Lanarkshire OAP has been found near Stranraer.

We told you earlier this week how 82-year-old Sheen Gray had been reported missing from Gartcosh.

She was last seen around 4pm on Saturday (November 12) in the Manor Road area of the town.

However, a police source told us that her silver Kia Picanto had been found in a layby on the A77 close to Lendalfoot, East Ayrshire.

Officers, alongside specialist search officers and partners are currently in the vicinity of this area conducting searches.

Sheena is described as around 5ft, with short grey, curly hair and is known to wear glasses.

It is believed she was wearing dark clothing when last seen.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101.

Information can also be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
