Car occupants flee scene after collision which left Dublin Bus badly damaged on Greenhills Road

A Dublin Bus was left badly damaged after a car smashed into it in south Dublin yesterday.

The crash happened on the Greenhills Road, and the occupants of the car fled the scene.

The bus' front door was left destroyed as a result, with one of the windows completely smashed and damage to the frame.

The front of the car was also badly damaged in the collision.

Dublin Fire Brigade were called to assist on the scene, and thankfully no serious injuries have been reported.

DFB said: "Yesterday we were called to a car vs bus collision on the Greenhills Road. The occupants of the car had left the scene before our arrival."

Firefighters were also called to a collision in north Dublin on Saturday that resulted in the car being left in place to prevent livestock escaping.

It happened in Ballyboughal and a fence was left damaged as a result.
