Car lands right next to front door of house after overturning on residential street in Carmarthen

Two people have escaped serious injury after a car overturned and landed on its roof in a residential street in Carmarthen.

The two-car crash happened in Richmond Terrace in the town at around 9.15am on Wednesday morning.

The collision involved a Nissan and a Pegueot, the latter ending up on its roof right outside a house near the entrance to Long Acre Road and the Park Hall area.

Police and ambulances arrived at the scene and the road was closed in both directions as recovery of the vehicles was arranged.

Both vehicles were recovered at around 10.40am and the road was reopened shortly afterwards.
