Car lands on roof in ditch after two car smash in Fife as emergency services called

Police are on the scene of a horror two car crash in Fife which left one motor lying in a ditch.

The alarm was raised at around 1.40pm on Friday, April 23, after two vehicles collided on the A909 near Aberdour.

One of the vehicles has been left lying on its roof after being knocked off the road near the B9157 - known as Bernard’s Smithy junction.

Police and paramedics remain at the scene however there are not believed to be any serious injuries.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called around 1.40pm on Friday, 23 April, to a report of a two vehicle crash, a car and van, on the A909 near the junction with the B9157, north of Aberdour.

“Officers are currently at the scene."

The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
