A car crashed into a house in an Aberdeenshire village in a early morning incident as cops rushed to the scene.
Just before 2am this morning a vehicle crashed through a metal barrier and into a property on Longside Main Street, near Peterhead.
The light coloured vehicle could be seen lying on its side behind a piece of the metal barrier still intact.
The front of the car was badly damaged and pieces of it could be seen lying in front of the house it crashed into.
Many of the tiles on the roof of the home had fallen off.
A orange barrier and tape cordoned off the area as a police car remained on the scene until the vehicle was recovered.
The road was closed for a short period of time this morning to allow for vehicle recovery.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called around 1.45am to a report on Longside Main Street of a vehicle colliding with a property.
"The road was closed for a short time mid morning to allow for recovery of the vehicle."
There are not believed to be any injuries as a result of the crash.
The vehicle has since been recovered and the road is open.
