A car was flipped onto its side and a major road closed after a crash.
Emergency services were called to the Formby Bypass this evening (Monday, October 11) to reports of a crash.
Merseyside Police and Merseyside Fire and Rescue service attended the crash, which happened between the Lady Green Garden Centre and Ince Woods.

Pictures show one car flipped onto its side on the grass bank.
Police closed the bypass in both directions while emergency services dealt with the incident.
North West Ambulance Service were also in attendance at the crash but it's unclear if anybody was injured.
