Car flips onto roof in horror crash in Edinburgh

A car flipped onto it's roof in a horror crash in Edinburgh.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the A1, Hillend Place, in the Meadowbank area of the city just before 11pm on Sunday night.

A woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Officers found a car flipped onto its roof blocking one side of the road, near the corner of Parsons Green Terrace and Meadowbank House.

A shocking image of the accident was shared on social media.

It is not known how many people were involved in the incident or if anyone was injured.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman told the Record: "Officers in Edinburgh were called to Parsons Green Terrace at around 10.55pm on Sunday, 6 September, following a report that a car had overturned.

"One woman was taken to hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service with minor injuries."
