Car flips onto roof as chase comes to dramatic end yards from police station

A traffic cop has shared a picture of the aftermath of a police chase through Bradford that ended when a car flipped onto its roof.

West Yorkshire Police constable Martin Willis tweeted photos out from his account on Sunday, December 29 to reveal a blue Renault Scenic lodged down an embankment next to an industrial unit near Bradford city centre.

The incident happened on Manchester Road, just a couple of hundred of metres away from Trafalgar House police station in Bradford.

The door of the car was left open after the incident as the driver fled the scene.

PC Martin Willis said: "Some drivers will go to extreme lengths to avoid having to speak to us! #Police #failtostop."
