Car flips onto roof after horror two vehicle crash in Scots village

A car flipped onto its roof after a horror two-car crash in a Scots village.

Police arrived at Victoria Street in Ladybank, Fife around 7.40pm on Saturday July 24.

The driver sustained only minor cuts but was badly shaken. They were taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.

Officers remained at the scene of the incident until 9.40pm after recovery was completed.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.40pm on Saturday, 24 July, officers were called to the Victoria Street area of Ladybank, following a report of a two-car crash, causing one of the vehicles to roll onto its roof.

"There were no serious injuries reported and recovery was completed by 9.40pm.”

It comes after a two-vehicle crash on Easter Road in the Leith area of Edinburgh also left a person in hospital earlier this month.

Three police vans and two fire crews were also dispatched to the scene of the incident.

The condition of the hospitalised person remains unknown.
