Car flips onto roof after crash in Manchester

A car flipped over onto its roof after a crash in south Manchester.

Firefighters were called to the two-car crash on Royle Green Road in Northenden at around 3.40pm on Sunday (June 26). Pictures taken at the scene showed one car completely flipped over in the middle of the road.

No passengers were trapped in either of the vehicles involved, a spokesperson for the fire service said. No-one was hurt in the incident.

The scene was 'made safe' by fire crews. No further details on the crash have been released by Greater Manchester Police.

A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "At 3.38pm on Sunday 26 June, firefighters were called out to a road traffic collision on Royle Green Road, Manchester.

"One fire engine from Wythenshawe Fire Station attended the scene where two cars had collided, with one of the vehicles on its roof. No passengers were trapped in either vehicle and there were no casualties. Crews made the cars safe before leaving the scene."
