The M56 was left party blocked near Manchester Airport this afternoon after a crash left a car on its side.
It happened on the westbound carriageway of the motorway near the exit slip road at junction 5.

Paramedics are at the scene however is unclear at this stage if anyone has been injured.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have been contacted for comment.
Two lanes were closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
"The M56 westbound exit slip road at J5 (Manchester Airport) 2 lanes have been closed due to a collision.
"Traffic Officers & North West Ambulance Service are currently at scene.
"Recovery & Maintenance Crews are on their way to the area to assist."
The traffic service Inrix said there was stationary traffic due to the closure of the exit slip road.
