Car flips on its roof on M57 but driver escapes with only a 'cut'

A car has been left on its roof after a crash on the M57 at Prescot.

Emergency services were called to reports of a crash on the M57 southbound between junctions one and two at 6.31pm on Wednesday, June 23.

Once at the scene Merseyside Fire and Rescue found one car down an embankment and on its roof.

The driver, who was already out of the car before the fire service arrived, was treated by crews for a cut.

Paramedics checked over the driver at the scene, but injuries are not thought to be major.

No roads have been closed due to the crash and Merseyside Police are also on the scene.
