A vehicle turned into a fire ball after bursting into flames on the M77 in Glasgow.
Mercy crews were called to the blaze at junction 1 at Dumbreck at around 6.30pm on Thursday night.
Shocking pictures show the motor engulfed by the flames as other cars drove by.
Thick black smoke billowed from the scene.
Police attended the incident alongside fire crews.
No one was injured.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We were called around 6.30pm on Thursday, 13 January, 2022 following the report of a car on fire on the M77 at junction 1 Dumbreck.
"Emergency services attended and there were no injuries."
