Car fire in Bilborough is being treated as arson

Police and fire crews were called out to a car fire in the early hours of Saturday morning (August 10).

The vehicle was reported as being on fire in Birchover recreation ground in Bilborough.

Nottinghamshire Police confirmed that the incident is being treated as arson.

Emergency services were called at 1.37am and the fire had been put out at 2.20am.

A spokesman for the police said: "It is being treated as arson and enquiries are on-going."
