Car festival in Mysuru

MYSURU: Chamarajanagar DC Charulatha Somal stated that district administration has made all preparations to celebrate the annual Ashada Chamrajeshwaraswamy Maha Rathotsava on July13.

The rituals for the festival began on July 6 and it continue till July 17. The maharathosav will be held on auspicious Kanya Lagna between 11am and 11.30am. The chariot will proceed through SBM Road, Veerabhadreshwara Swamy temple Circle and Maramma Temple before returning.
