NEW YORK — A car drove through a crowd of protesters in Manhattan on Friday.
Police said the incident happened about 4:08 p.m. in Murray Hill.
The protesters were marching in solidarity with ICE detainees on a hunger strike at a jail in Bergen County, according to social media postings.
The number of people hurt and the severity of their injuries was not immediately known in the incident
The motorist involved stayed at the scene, said police sources.
