A car door was slammed on a man's leg during an assault in which he was also punched and hit with 'implements'.
Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for information about this incident, which happened on September 18 in Kneeton Close in Sherwood.
A spokesman for the force said: "Officers are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault on September 18 at 11pm in Kneeton Close.
"Three men have assaulted a man by slamming a car door on his leg, hitting him with implements and punching him.
"The men then ran away.
"The victim suffered injuries to his face and body.
"If anyone saw the incident or has any information please ring 101 quoting incident number 969 of 18 September 2019."
