Police have launched a probe after a motor was damaged in a reported beak in attempt in the Forth Valley area.
Officers were called to reports of the incident on Torwood Avenue, Grangemouth, at around 9.25pm on Sunday January 2.
Posts online indicate the circumstances involved a person trying to steal items from the vehicle.
Cops confirmed they are investigating damage sustained to the car during the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a car being damaged on Torwood Avenue, Grangemouth, around 9.25pm on Sunday, 2 January.
"Enquiries are at an early stage and ongoing."
